This Airtel branch is over at B-112 in New Ashok Nagar. It’s a very busy part of Delhi, right on the border with Noida. The office is tucked into a building along the main road where there’s always a lot of foot traffic. We handle all sorts of things here, like people coming in because their SIM card stopped working or they want to change their data plan. It’s not one of those massive corporate headquarters. It’s a local spot where people from the neighborhood come to get their mobile issues sorted out. The space is a bit cramped, especially when five or six people walk in at the same time. We have a couple of counters and some chairs that have seen better days. Our day is basically a long line of people asking about bills or new connections. We try to get through the queue as fast as we can, but sometimes the system is slow or the paperwork takes time. New Ashok Nagar is a bit chaotic, and our office reflects that sometimes. We have posters on the walls that are a bit peeling at the corners. It’s just a practical place to work. We aren't doing anything fancy, just helping the locals stay connected. It’s a lot of talking and typing, day in and day out, in this small corner of Delhi-96. The Metro station is close, so there’s always a rush of people coming in to visit.
