Bharat Hotels Ltd. is set up at 35, Npl Apartments. We are in the H-3 Block of Vikas Puri, New Delhi-18. Being in an apartment complex makes the whole office feel a bit different than a commercial building. It’s more relaxed in a way. You see the same people every day coming and going from their homes. Our office inside Npl is where we handle the administrative side of things for the hotels. There are always stacks of files about supplies, staff schedules, and maintenance records. It’s not a hotel itself, just the place where the planning and the boring paperwork happen. The windows look out onto the common area of the apartments, so you can see kids playing or elderly people sitting on the benches in the evening. We keep the kettle going for most of the day because we all drink way too much coffee to stay awake. The desks are covered in notebooks and pens. Sometimes the door buzzer breaks and we have to go all the way down to the gate to let people in. Vikas Puri is a nice area, but the traffic can be a nightmare during the morning rush hours. We usually get in early to avoid the worst of it. It’s a quiet office for the most part, except when we’re talking about which vendor to use for the laundry service. We just do our jobs and go home like everyone else living in the block.
