Bharat Aviation, Jet Airways

We are located at 76, Engineers Enclave in Pitam Pura. It’s a busy part of Delhi but our little corner is usually manageable. Being here as Bharat Aviation and Jet Airways means we spend a lot of time looking at flight paths and ticket numbers on old computer screens. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a regular building among many others in the enclave. We have a few desks pushed together and some chairs that have seen better days. Every morning starts with the sound of the metal shutter going up and someone putting the kettle on for tea. The traffic on the main road can get pretty loud during rush hour but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We mostly deal with people who live nearby or those who have heard about us through word of mouth. It gets dusty pretty fast here because of the construction work nearby, so we are always wiping down the tables. We don't have any fancy posters or bright lights. It’s just us doing the paperwork and making sure people get where they need to go. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. It’s a simple way to run things, but it works for us. We know the neighbors and the guy who sells snacks at the end of the street. It feels like a real community here in Pitam Pura. Most of our morning is spent sorting through emails. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in, but we make it work.
