Between Jobs

We've been at A-5/2 in Rana Pratap Bagh for a while now. It’s just a small setup here in Delhi-7 where we deal with people looking for work. Most days are spent looking at resumes or talking on the phone. The office isn't anything fancy, just a room with some desks and a lot of paper. People come in from the neighborhood or call us up when they’re in a tough spot between roles. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets pretty busy when the door keeps swinging open. It’s a bit noisy outside with the traffic, but you get used to it. The walls are a bit plain and we probably need a new coat of paint soon. We don't really do the big corporate talk here because that’s not who we are. It’s just us helping folks find their next thing while we manage the day-to-day stuff. Most of our mornings are just coffee and sorting through emails. If you’re walking by Rana Pratap Bagh, you’ll see our sign. It isn't a huge operation, just a handful of us sitting behind computers trying to make sense of the job market. We’ve seen a lot of people pass through these doors over the years. Some stay for a bit, others just drop off a paper and leave. It’s practical work. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist, just whoever is closest to the door says hello.
