We’ve been at A-40 near Preet Vihar for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work and the metro station nearby is packed. My name is Raj, and I help run things here at Best Value Hotels P Ltd. We aren't some giant fancy corporation with marble floors everywhere, but we keep our rooms tidy and make sure people have a place to sleep that doesn't cost them a whole month's salary. Mostly, it’s just us doing the daily work, checking guests in, making sure the laundry gets done, and fixing the plumbing when it acts up. The building itself is easy to find if you know the landmark. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside because of the shops, but inside it’s alright. We have a small team here. Most of us have lived around this part of Delhi for years, so we know where to find the best tea or which rickshaw driver won’t overcharge you. We don't have those big scripted speeches for when you walk in. We just say hello and get you your key. It’s a simple life. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at the computer, trying to keep the bookings straight. There are days when everything goes wrong at once, but we just handle it one thing at a time. My boss usually brings in some snacks around 4 PM, which is the highlight of the day for us. We don't have a fancy website with drone shots.
