You can find us at 120 A in Johri Farm. It’s a small travel shop we’ve been running for a while now in New Delhi. We don't have a big storefront with neon signs or huge displays. It’s more of a place where you sit down and talk about where you want to go. We’ve got some maps on the walls and a few old brochures that have been sitting on the shelf for months. It’s mostly just a couple of us working here. We use the computers to look up flights and trains, but a lot of what we do is just talking to people and hearing about their plans. We’ve learned a lot about different routes and what works best for travelers over the years. The office is a bit small and can get messy with all the ticket printouts, scrap paper, and notes we take. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s completely quiet for hours. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle for making tea when it gets cold in the winter. We aren't trying to be the biggest travel agency in the city. We just want to help our local customers get a fair price and a good route for their trips. It’s a simple business. We know the area well and most of our customers are from right here in the neighborhood. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone’s cousin or friend told them to come see us. We just try to be honest.
