You can find us over in Uttam Nagar, at House Number G 44 in Rama Park. We are right near Mohan Garden, which is a landmark most people in this part of New Delhi know. Benz Travel is the name on the papers, but we mostly go by Affordableholidays.Co.Uk. The office is tucked away in a busy residential lane. It’s the kind of place where you have to dodge scooters and street vendors just to get to the door. Inside, it’s pretty cramped because we have a lot of desks squeezed into a small space. We spend the whole day looking for cheap flights and hotel deals for people. There are posters of beaches and mountains on the walls that are a bit faded from the sun. The noise from the street is always there in the background, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don’t have any fancy uniforms or a big polished desk at the front. It’s just us with our headsets on, trying to make sense of travel bookings. Sometimes the printer jams right when we need to print a ticket, and we all have to take turns trying to fix it. It’s a busy, noisy, and honest place to work. We just focus on the bookings and try to keep the computer systems running without crashing. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing away on keyboards while the fans hum overhead.
