We are tucked away in Janak Puri at A4C-183. It is a bit of a maze back here if you aren't familiar with the blocks, but we like it. The office is pretty simple, nothing like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. We spend our days handling various travel and transport requests that come our way. Most of the work happens at the computer, but there’s still a fair amount of paper that moves across the desks every day. It gets dusty pretty quick with the window open, so we are always wiping things down. We aren’t a huge team, just a few of us who know how things work around here. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, more cars and more noise, but our spot stays pretty much the same. People come in looking for help with their trips or sending stuff, and we do what we can to sort it out. It’s not always perfect; sometimes a file gets misplaced for a minute or a phone line goes dead, but that’s just how it is. We drink a lot of chai and keep the fans going in the summer. It's a practical place for practical work. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or art; we just keep the desks organized and try to stay busy. It feels like home after being here for so many years in Janak Puri. We know the neighbors and the local shops, and we just keep doing our thing.
