Barclays Bank

My name is Gaurav Arora and I work out of 121, Amrit Nagar. We are located in South Extension Part-1 in New Delhi. This is the place where we handle banking matters for Barclays. It is not a massive branch with hundreds of people. Instead, it is a more personal setup in a residential part of the city. I’ve been here for a long time, and I like that I can see the trees and the regular street life from my desk. We don’t have those heavy glass doors or fancy security guards you see at bigger banks. We just have a quiet office where we can focus on the paperwork and help people out with their accounts. The neighborhood is usually quite busy, especially in the evenings, but our building stays relatively calm. We don't have a team of people writing fancy speeches for us. We just explain the banking stuff in plain English so everyone understands what’s going on. It feels more like a small local business than a big international bank when you’re inside. We have some chairs for guests and a few filing cabinets that are getting a bit full. We don't use any corporate jargon here. We just sit down, look at the numbers, and get things sorted. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way of doing things that works well for us.
