Barbequenation

Our spot is at A-4 M.I.G Flats, right in Qutab Enclave-1. We are directly opposite the Qutab Hotel in New Delhi. It’s a famous landmark, so it makes finding us a lot easier. Being in the M.I.G flats means it feels more like a home than a sterile office. We have a kitchen area where we test out ideas and a main room where we handle the management stuff. It’s not a big corporate headquarters with elevators and security guards. You just walk up and knock. We spend a lot of time talking about food and logistics. The smells from the nearby eateries always drift in. We have a few computers and a lot of notebooks filled with recipes and numbers. The furniture is a mix of stuff we’ve picked up over time. It’s not a matching set. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar and some photos of the teams. It gets busy during the lunch rush around here, but our office stays relatively steady. Sometimes the printer jams, and we all have to take turns trying to fix it. It’s just how things are. We like being near the Qutab area because it feels historic. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just want to make sure the food and the service at the restaurants are okay. It takes a lot of work but we keep at it every day.
