Bansal Lal & Co

Bansal Lal & Co is located at 77 Sagarpur West. It is a plain office in a regular residential area. We have been here for a long time now. The front door stays open most of the day to get a breeze, and you can hear scooters passing by and kids playing outside. Inside, it is just a couple of desks, some wooden chairs, and several metal cabinets full of files. We deal with a lot of paperwork and general business matters. It is not a very flashy place, but it is where we do our daily work. My partner and I share the one big room. We usually have a small radio playing in the background to keep things from being too quiet. People from the neighborhood often stop in to ask a quick question or sometimes just to chat for a bit. The furniture is fairly old and the paint is coming off the walls in a few spots, but it works for what we need. We do not have a large staff, just the two of us handling everything that comes in. Some days are slow and we just spend the time organizing old records or reading the newspaper. There is a small electric kettle in the back where we make our tea. It is a quiet atmosphere, away from the main city rush. We do not use computers much, mostly just notebooks and phones. Most of our visitors are people who have known us for years. It is a steady way to work.
