Banjara Camps & Retreat Pvt.Ltd.-New Delhi

We’ve been working out of Chamber No. 618 at Patiala House Courts for a while now. It’s a bit of a busy spot in New Delhi, but it works for what we do. Mostly, we handle all the camp stuff and retreats from this little office. You might wonder why a travel company is in a court building, but it's just where our desk is. The team here stays pretty busy with paperwork and phone calls. It gets noisy outside with all the court activity, but inside we just focus on getting things ready for people going on trips. It’s not a fancy resort office or anything. Just some chairs, computers, and a lot of maps pinned up. We spend most of our day talking to drivers and checking on the sites. If you drop by, you'll see we are just regular folks trying to make sure the camps run okay. Sometimes the tea guy comes by twice an hour and we take a quick break. New Delhi is always crowded, so getting here takes some time. We like the grit of the city even if we mostly talk about the mountains and quiet places. There is a lot of back-and-forth communication. We try to keep things simple here. Nothing too complicated, just daily work in a small room. It gets the job done and we know the area well. It’s not perfect, but it’s ours.
