Banarsidas Chandiwala Guest House

Banarsidas Chandiwala Guest House is located at 739/7 in Govindpuri Kalkaji. We have been here in New Delhi-110019 for a lot of years. The area is always crowded and full of life, which means there is never a dull moment outside. Our guest house is a simple building. We don’t have fancy elevators or a big buffet, but we provide a place to sleep for travelers who need a decent spot in Kalkaji. We spend most of our time making sure the linens are washed and the rooms are ready for the next person. It’s a family-run place, so you’ll often see us just hanging out near the front desk or fixing something that broke. We know this part of Delhi like the back of our hands, so we can usually tell you where to get a good meal or which bus to catch. Sometimes the electricity goes out or there’s a problem with the water, and we just have to deal with it as it happens. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. People come and go at all hours, so one of us is usually awake to let them in. We don't have a lot of big rules, just that people should be respectful. It is an honest way to make a living and we like being part of the local community here in Govindpuri. We just take things one day at a time and try our best.
