Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd

Our place is on the first floor of a double-storey house in New Rajender Nagar. It is House Number 28, and if you know this part of Delhi, you know it is mostly residential but with plenty of offices tucked into the buildings. The stairs are a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when we are carrying things up. It is not like those big glass buildings you see in Noida or Gurgaon. It feels more like a home that turned into an office over time. We have our desks set up in the main rooms and we just go about our business. The neighborhood is usually quite lively, with people walking to the local market or heading to the metro station nearby. We spend a lot of time here, just handling the day-to-day things for Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just wait it out or chat. It is a very down-to-earth kind of environment. No one is wearing suits unless there is a very specific reason. Most days it is just regular clothes and getting the work done. We have some old filing cabinets that have been here forever and they squeak every time you open them. It is just a normal office life in Rajender Nagar. We like being centrally located because it makes getting around easy enough, even when the traffic is bad. There is a small park nearby where some of us go to sit for ten minutes when the office gets too stuffy.
