Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd.

This branch of Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. is situated in Kalyan Vas, over at T-2 in Block No-1. It’s a different setting than some of the other places in New Delhi, but it’s where we spend our days. The 110091 area has its own rhythm. Our office is pretty basic, just the essentials for getting the work done. We have our desks, our chairs, and the usual stacks of papers that seem to grow no matter how much we file them away. It’s a practical space. We don't spend money on decorations or fancy furniture because that’s not what we’re about. We just want a place where we can sit down and do what needs to be done. The walk from the main road isn't too long, and we see a lot of the same people every morning. Working here feels very grounded. We aren't isolated in some high-rise; we’re right there in the middle of the community. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with the local traffic, but you get used to it. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks for the day. There’s a lot to keep track of, but we’ve got a system that works for us. It’s a plain, straightforward way of running things, and that’s exactly how we like it. We’ve been here a while and know the spot well. The afternoon sun hits the windows hard, so we usually keep the blinds pulled.
