Baldev Plaza

Our office is at E-22/156 in Zakirnagar, Okhla. New Delhi 110025 is a packed area, and Zakirnagar is especially tight with all the lanes. Baldev Plaza is our base. It’s a local building that’s seen a lot of years. We aren't in one of those new glass buildings in Noida. We’re right here where the people are. The street outside is always full of rickshaws and vendors. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long. Inside our space, it’s a bit quieter, but not much. We have a few rooms where we manage the property and the business. The desks are older wood and we have stacks of ledgers. We prefer keeping track of some things by hand still. It feels more real that way. People from the neighborhood drop in to ask about space or just to say hello. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. Usually, it’s just one of us looking up from a computer. It’s a very straightforward way of doing business. We know the shopkeepers nearby and where to get the best snacks. The electricity fluctuates sometimes, like it does in Okhla, but we have a backup for the computers. We just keep things running as smoothly as we can given how busy the area is. It’s honest work in a very lively part of Delhi. We enjoy the chaos of the streets because it keeps us feeling connected to the city.
