Bablu Telecom

Vijay Chowk in Laxmi Nagar is one of the busiest spots you can find. Bablu Telecom is right there at Laxmi Nagar 1, and we are right in the middle of all that energy. The shop is small, mostly taken up by the glass counter where we show phones and accessories. It gets really crowded in the evenings when everyone is out shopping or heading to the metro. We do a lot of recharges, sell a lot of screen guards, and talk to a lot of people who are having trouble with their devices. It’s not a high-end boutique. It’s a place where things get done. I usually have a few different things going on at once—fixing a charging port while talking to someone about their bill. It can be a bit overwhelming, but I’ve been doing this for long enough that I don't get stressed easily. We don't have a corporate handbook. We just treat people like neighbors because they usually are. The noise from the crossing is constant, but it’s the heartbeat of the area. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if there’s a line of people waiting. We don't make a big deal out of it. It’s just how we run things here. When the shutters go down at night, it’s finally quiet for a few hours. Then we do it all over again the next day.
