B K Industries

Down in Dayanand Colony, at B-34, you will find B K Industries. It’s not a huge place, but we make it work. There is usually a bit of dust in the air and the smell of machinery, which is just part of the job. We have been operating out of this space for a long time. The neighborhood knows us as the guys who are always tinkering with something. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see us working in the main area. We do a lot of repetitive stuff, but it needs to be done right, so we pay attention. The machines we use are old but they are sturdy and we know how to fix them when they get cranky. Sometimes the power goes out in the colony and we have to wait around, which gives us a chance to have some tea and talk. We aren't some giant factory with thousands of workers. It’s a small operation where everyone knows their role. We get our hands dirty every day and that’s fine with us. We handle the orders as they come in and try to stay on top of the schedule. It gets pretty cramped when we have a big shipment ready to go out, but we manage to navigate the boxes. It’s just a practical place for practical work. We’ve been here through the years and we plan to stay right here in the colony.
