Axis Hotel & Resorts

Our place is in Varanasi, specifically at H.N.-S-30/19 D-1, near the Narmal School in Shivpur. It’s a bit of a distance from the main ghats, but that means it’s a little less crowded. We run things related to hotels and resorts from here. The office is quite simple, just a room with some old chairs and a couple of desks. We spend a lot of time talking to guests on the phone or trying to organize transport for people coming into the city. Varanasi can be very overwhelming, so we try to keep things grounded here. The school nearby means there’s always the sound of kids or bells ringing at certain times of the day. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we can keep track of everything. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. We aren't a big chain with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us who know the area well and want to help people find a place to stay. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the rooms are booked and the guests know how to find us. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied throughout the year. The neighborhood is friendly and we like being part of it.
