Our office is located way out in Guler, which is in the Tehsil Dehra area of Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh. It is a very different setting compared to the big cities. The air is a lot fresher here and the pace of life is much slower than what you find in Delhi. We are situated in the village and post office area, so everyone knows everyone else. The building we use is an old structure that has been part of the landscape for a long time. It can get quite cold in the winter months, so we usually have a small heater running to keep our fingers from freezing while we work. The view outside the windows is mostly green hills and trees, which is a nice change from looking at concrete walls. Sometimes the monkeys come by and sit on the roof, making a lot of noise. We don't have high-speed city infrastructure, so things can take a little longer here, but we prefer the quiet atmosphere. It is a humble place where we handle our business without the stress of city traffic or loud sirens. Most of us walk to work or take a short ride on a bike. It is a small team and we have known each other for years, so the atmosphere inside the office is very relaxed and friendly. We just do our work and enjoy the mountain air.
