We have been running things here at Avis India for quite a while now. Our office is tucked away in C-50, Dayanand Colony, which is right in the heart of Lajpat Nagar - IV. If you know New Delhi, you know how busy this area gets. It's always a bit of a scramble with the traffic and people moving around outside. We mostly spend our days dealing with car bookings and making sure people get where they need to go. It isn't always smooth, especially when the weather gets hot or the roads are blocked, but we do what we can. The team here is small, just a few of us sitting at our desks, answering phones and checking schedules. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It's just a regular workspace where we keep our records and try to stay organized. Sometimes the internet acts up or the tea guy is late, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, new shops opening up and others closing down. We just keep showing up every morning, opening the shutters, and getting to work. It's a lot of coordination, talking to drivers, and making sure the paperwork is sorted out. People come by for all sorts of reasons, and we try to give them the information they need without making it complicated. It's just us here in Lajpat Nagar, keeping the wheels turning.
