Avis India ( Oberoi Hotel Group)

Park View Apartment in Mehrauli is a bit of an interesting place for an office. We are at Plot No-34 in Ward-1, which is quite close to some of the old ruins and historical spots. Avis India works alongside the Oberoi Hotel Group, so we deal with a lot of car bookings and transport needs for guests. But here at B-8, it is mostly just the administrative side. We have drivers coming in to drop off keys or pick up their schedules for the next day. Mehrauli traffic is legendary, so a lot of our time is spent looking at maps and trying to figure out the best routes to the airport or the city center. The office is not very big, and we have a lot of charts on the wall showing where all the cars are. It gets a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time. We have a small balcony that looks out towards the other apartments, and that is usually where we stand to take a phone call when it gets too noisy inside. We do not have fancy uniforms in this office, just regular clothes because we are doing the gritty work of managing a fleet. It is a lot of coordinating between the hotels and the drivers. The paperwork can be a bit much, but we stay on top of it. It is a practical, everyday sort of place where we just try to keep the wheels turning.
