Avec

Our office for Avec is in one of the Dda Flats in Ambedkar Nagar, specifically 20/576. It’s right on the main road, so the sound of buses and cars is something we hear every single minute. It’s a small space, and we have to be very organized so we don't trip over each other. There are stacks of files everywhere because we haven't gone fully digital yet. We do a lot of different things, mostly just managing the daily operations of the business. It’s just a few of us in a room with some desks pushed together. The lighting isn't the best, but we make it work. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, and sometimes we just watch the people going by when we take a break. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the door so people know they are in the right place. It’s not a fancy corporate environment. We drink tea from the stall downstairs and talk about the news. The work is steady, and we just try to keep things moving along. Sometimes it gets stressful when there’s a lot to do, but we just get through it together. It’s a very local, hands-on way to run a business. We are just regular people working in a busy part of Delhi, trying to keep up.
