We are based in Flat-No 256 in Dwarka Sector 19. It’s in Pocket-3. Working out of a flat gives the office a very different feel than a tall commercial tower. We have a balcony where some of us go to get a bit of air during the day. The view is mostly of other apartment blocks and the park across the way. Dwarka is spread out, so it feels less suffocating than central Delhi. The elevators in the building work most of the time. We have to deal with the society security guards every time someone comes to visit. It’s a bit of a process to get them through the gate. Inside the flat, we’ve used the rooms as different departments. The kitchen is mostly just for the water cooler and the coffee machine now. We spend a lot of time on our laptops. It’s quiet enough that you can hear the birds in the morning. Sometimes we forget we are in an office because it looks so much like a home. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one on the door of Flat 256. It’s a simple way to work. We like the neighborhood because it’s easy to walk around. There are a few small markets nearby where we grab snacks. It’s a very regular, everyday kind of place for us in New Delhi. We've been here for two years now and it suits our needs perfectly.
