Auto Plast India

Auto Plast India is out in the Narela DSIDC Industrial Park, specifically at unit 2369. It is a big industrial area and can be quite a trek to get here if you aren't familiar with the roads. We deal with plastic parts mostly. The machines are running almost all the time, so it gets pretty noisy inside. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of dust and the smell of melting plastic is always there. We have a group of workers who stay nearby and come in for their shifts. My desk is usually covered in papers and samples of different molds we are working on. We started this small unit a few years back and it’s been growing slowly. Narela is a bit far from the main city, which has its own challenges with transport and getting materials delivered. We spend a lot of time checking the machines to make sure nothing breaks down in the middle of a run. It’s just a regular factory setup. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our visitors are just delivery drivers or people from other units in the park. Sometimes we sit outside for a tea break just to get away from the machine noise for a bit. It’s hard work and long hours, but we keep the production going. That is pretty much our daily life here at 2369.
