Associate Hotels India is tucked away at 3072 U on Street No 10 in Old Ranjit Nagar. If you’ve ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know the streets are narrow and the buildings are packed in pretty tight. Our office is right there in the middle of it all. We have been working in the hotel industry for a good while now, but we don't run things from a big flashy hotel lobby. Instead, we do all our planning and management from this small street in Ranjit Nagar. It’s a bit of a maze to get here if you don't know the way, but it’s home to us. We spend our time talking to property owners and guests, trying to make sure everyone is happy with their stay. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, but we do our best to fix things on the fly. We don’t have a lot of fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets. We just use what we have to keep the business running. The area is full of small shops and local workers, so there is always a lot of energy around. We like being in an old part of the city because it feels more real than the newer developments. It’s just us, a few desks, and a lot of phone calls every single day.
