Assistant Manager

The office is located in the Numberdar Building, which is in Aali Village near Badarpur. We are specifically in Flat Number 15/16. This part of New Delhi is right on the edge of the city, so it has a bit of a different feel than the busy center. The building is a sturdy one and we have two flats joined together to make enough space for our daily work. Aali Village is a place where everyone knows each other, so there is always someone stopping by the entrance to chat or ask for directions. We have a few desks and some filing cabinets that are mostly full now. The windows look out over the village streets and you can see the daily life and small shops going on below. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs to the office, but the view is alright once you get there. We deal with a lot of local management tasks and keeping things in order. It is not a high-tech office with screens everywhere. We still use a lot of paper and pens for everything we do. The assistant manager is usually here most of the day making sure things are moving along as they should. Sometimes the noise from the Badarpur traffic carries over, but inside the building, it stays mostly quiet. We like the location because it is practical for what we do every day without being too expensive.
