About As A Help Desk Executive In Transport – Tourism in Delhi
I work at the transport help desk over at Plot No: 480/481 in Udyog Vihar Phase-III, Gurgaon. This is the Wipro Technologies building, and it’s a massive place compared to some of the smaller shops in town. My job is all about making sure the cabs and buses for the employees are running on time. It sounds simple, but when you have hundreds of people needing a ride at the same time, it gets chaotic. I sit at a desk with a few monitors and a lot of log sheets. The phone never really stops ringing, especially during the shift change hours in the morning and evening. Gurgaon gets some pretty bad traffic jams, so I spend a lot of time telling people why their car is ten minutes late. The office is very modern, with glass walls and bright lights, but my corner is full of scribbled notes and coffee mugs. I have to keep track of the drivers and the routes they take. Sometimes a car breaks down or a driver gets lost, and then I have to scramble to find a replacement. It’s a lot of pressure because everyone just wants to get home after their shift. I’ve been doing this for a while now, so I know most of the regular drivers by name. It’s a busy environment and the air conditioning is always a bit too cold. Just doing my bit to keep things moving day after day for the staff.
