Arjun Communications

Arjun Communications is right here in Tekhand Village, specifically over in Mavi Mohalla at house number 139. Most people around here know the spot because it’s a bit of a landmark in this part of the village. I’ve been opening the shutters every morning for quite some time now, usually around ten when the sun starts hitting the front step. The shop isn't huge, but it fits everything we need like the glass counter and a few stools for people to sit on while they wait for their phone stuff to get sorted. Sometimes the lane outside gets really crowded with bikes and people walking to the main market, so it can get pretty loud during the afternoons. I spend a lot of time just organizing the small parts behind the desk or looking out the door. It’s a simple setup. We have a small fan that rattles a bit when it's on high, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to me. People from the Mohalla stop by not just for work, but sometimes just to say hello or ask about the weather. It gets dusty because of the construction nearby, so I’m usually wiping down the glass every couple of hours. Living and working in Tekhand means you see the same faces every day, and that’s how we like it. There’s no big fancy sign, just the name and the work we do day in and day out.
