Apra Motels

We have been running things between Karol Bagh and the Mahipal Pur Extension for some time now. Both spots have their own personality. Karol Bagh is always packed with people and shoppers, so there is never a quiet moment around that side. Then you have the Mahipal Pur area, which feels a bit different because it's so close to the airport roads. We spend our days going back and forth, making sure the rooms are okay and the guests have what they need. It’s not the kind of job where you sit still for very long. There is always a lightbulb that needs changing or someone asking for extra towels at an odd hour. The furniture in our office areas is a bit mismatched, mostly stuff we’ve picked up over the years. We don’t really go for that high-end corporate look because that’s just not us. We are just a local team trying to keep the motels in good shape. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble in the older sections, and we have to call the local repairman we’ve known for years. It’s a lot of laundry and checking guest lists on old clipboards. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just want the place to be clean enough for people to get a good night's sleep before they head out again. It’s a simple business run by people who live right around here.
