Applause

We are tucked away at number 20 in Kilokari, right near Maharani Bagh in New Delhi. It’s an interesting little pocket of the city to work in. Our office is small and kind of old-fashioned. We don’t have any of those modern open-plan layouts or fancy coffee machines. We just have our desks and some old files stacked in the corners. The name of the place is Applause but we are pretty low-key in how we do things. Most of the people around here are locals who have been in the neighborhood for years. You can hear the sounds of the street and the neighbors all day long. Sometimes we step outside for a bit of air and just watch the traffic go by towards Maharani Bagh. It’s a bit dusty and the paint on the walls is starting to peel in a few places but it’s our space. We spend the day handling whatever tasks come our way. It could be anything really. We don't have a set routine that stays the same every day. We just take things as they come and try to get through the list of stuff that needs doing. We aren't a big company with lots of rules. It’s just a few of us trying to make a living in a busy part of Delhi. It’s a simple life and we like it that way for the most part.
