Ankur Telecom

Ankur Telecom is situated in Nangloi, inside the Maharaja Agarsain Complex. Our shop is number 4. The complex is a big place with lots of different businesses, but we are easy to find if you look for the telecom sign. It is usually quite busy in Nangloi, and the complex has people coming in and out from early morning. We have a glass counter where we keep all the phone accessories and bits and pieces. I spend most of my time behind that counter. Shop number 4 isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we store everything. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief in the summer. We see a lot of people from the local neighborhood who need help with their mobile phones or connections. It is a straightforward job. We don't have a mission statement or anything; we just fix what is broken and sell what people need. Sometimes the Maharaja Agarsain Complex gets very crowded during the festivals, and it is hard to move around. We just stay in our spot and keep working. We have been here for a few years and have gotten to know the other shopkeepers nearby. It is a good community to be a part of. We open up at ten and stay until the market starts to close down. Everyone around here knows where to go if they need a charger. It is just a normal shop in Nangloi.
