Anantara

Anantara is located over at Punaichak in Patna, specifically at Kanti Singh’s place in Mohanpur. I’m Pankaj Sinha, and I’m a chef by trade. You can see my email address in the contact info if you ever need to reach me directly. Running things from Patna is different than being in the big metros, but we make it work. It’s a bit more personal here. I spend a lot of my time thinking about food and how to get the right ingredients from the local markets. Punaichak is a busy area, and sometimes getting around can be a real pain with the traffic. My day usually starts early, checking what we have in stock and what needs to be done for the day ahead. It’s not a fancy office setup; it’s more of a working space where things actually get done. I’ve been cooking for a long time, and it’s what I know best. I don't really care for all the corporate talk or the polished marketing stuff you see online. I just focus on the work and the people I’m helping. Sometimes things get messy in the kitchen or we run out of something we need, but we figure it out. It’s a humble operation, and we like it that way. Patna is home, and Anantara is just our way of doing business in our own city. We just take things one plate at a time and hope for the best.
