This place is out on the edge of New Delhi, near the Haryana border in the 110073 zip code. It’s a residential spot that’s still growing, so there is often construction noise nearby from new buildings. We spend our days here at the house looking after the property and managing the daily chores that come up. The area is a bit dusty because of the new roads being built around us. There isn't much of a staff, just a few people making sure everything stays in order and the plants get watered. The building itself has a lot of open space, which is nice when there’s a breeze. We don't really have an office setup like you’d see in the city center. It’s more about being on-site and seeing things for ourselves. The gates stay shut most of the time to keep the dust and the wandering dogs out. We have a few ledgers where we keep track of who comes and goes during the day. The walls are plain and there aren't many decorations to speak of. In the evenings, it gets quite dark out here because the streetlights are still being put in. We usually sit out in the courtyard when the sun goes down to get away from the heat inside the rooms. It’s a simple way of living and working for us. We don't have a lot of visitors, but we stay busy.
