Ananda Hotel

Ananda Hotel is sitting right at 1/4352 in Ram Nagar Ext. This is over on Mandoli Road in the Shahadra part of Delhi. It’s a 110032 area. We have been in this spot for a while. The road gets quite a lot of traffic during the rush hours, so there is always something to look at out the window. It’s a very local feel here. You see the same faces every day walking to work or the market. Our building is nothing too tall, just a standard structure on a busy street. Inside, it’s just us doing our daily tasks. We don’t have fancy uniforms or big speeches. We just try to keep the place in order. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we have to clean quite a bit. The neighbors are mostly other small shops and families living upstairs. It’s not a quiet neighborhood, but it’s got a lot of life to it. Mandoli Road is always moving. We have some fans going to keep it cool when it gets hot in the summer. It's a simple life over here in Shahadra. We know where the best tea is just a few doors down. Most of the staff live close enough to walk or take a quick rickshaw. We are just a part of the local scenery here. Every morning we open up the front and start the day. It’s a routine we’ve had for years now and we don’t plan on changing much.
