Anand Tourist

Anand Tourist is located on Shukar Bazar Road in Malka Ganj. The address has a strange number attached to it, 0.166666666666667, which I never really understood, but we are easy enough to find if you look for the market area. The street is always packed with people, especially on market days when the stalls are out. Our office is right in the middle of all that chaos. I spend my time mostly arranging cars and local transport for people who need to get around Delhi or head out to the nearby states. The office is just a simple room with a couple of chairs and a phone that never seems to stop ringing. I have a small TV in the corner that I keep on the news, but I rarely have time to actually watch it. There is always a lot of dust coming in from the road, so I am constantly wiping down the desk. I don't have any big corporate goals; I just want to make sure my drivers are where they are supposed to be and that the customers are happy with the ride. Sometimes a driver calls in sick or a car breaks down, and then I have a real mess on my hands to sort out. It is a very hands-on job, and I am usually here from early morning until quite late in the evening. It is just how things work when you are running a transport business in a place like Malka Ganj.
