Amit Trade Links is located right in the middle of the chaos at Kashmere Gate. We are at Shop No 1254 in Bara Bazar. If you know Kashmere Gate, you know how tight those lanes are and how many people are moving through them every second. We deal in trading and links, mostly focused on automotive parts like everyone else in this area. Our shop is small but we move a lot of volume. It’s mostly about managing the flow of goods coming in from the big suppliers and getting them out to the smaller shops. We don't have time for much else. The phones are always ringing, and someone is always shouting about a delivery that’s running late. We eat our lunch standing up most days. It’s a tough environment, dusty and loud, but there’s an energy to Bara Bazar that you don’t find anywhere else. We’ve been here long enough to know all the shortcuts and which tea stall has the best snacks. We don't use any fancy business language. We just talk plain and get the orders filled. Sometimes we make mistakes with the paperwork, but we always fix it. It's just us, working hard in a crowded market to keep the trade moving. We’re just another shop in a long line of them, doing our thing every single day without much fuss.
