Amit Telecom

Amit Telecom is over in Mayur Vihar Phase III, at 118A/A-2. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road but once you find the block, we are right there. The shop is small and usually filled with the smell of solder because we do a lot of repairs. Amit started this place because he was good with electronics and it just grew from there. It is not a polished store with glass floors or anything. It’s a practical workspace where we spend our days fixing phones and selling small things like cables and memory cards. We get a lot of students from the nearby areas who need their screens fixed quickly. We try to get things done as fast as we can, but sometimes the parts take a day or two to arrive. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know our way around a circuit board. The afternoons are usually a bit slow, so we take that time to organize the drawers. We don't use any fancy marketing talk. We just tell people what’s wrong with their device and what it will cost to fix it. It’s a straightforward business. Most of our customers come back because they know we’ve been here for a long time. It’s a quiet life in a busy residential colony and we’re happy with how things are.
