American Express

Down here in Block 14 of Lodhi Colony, things move at their own pace. We are located at 812, right in that famous part of New Delhi where the buildings have a lot of history. This American Express office is more about the day-to-day grind than anything flashy. The walls are thick and the ceilings are high, like most of the old government-style housing in this area. We spend our hours dealing with accounts and talking to people on the phone. It can get pretty repetitive, but we have a good group of people here who keep things light. We walk out to the local stalls for lunch and see the same faces every day. It’s a nice change from the sterile business districts you see in other parts of the city. Our desks are usually covered in folders and there is always a printer humming somewhere in the background. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy sign out front. People who need us usually know exactly where to find us in the 110003 area. It is just a straightforward workplace. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can look a bit messy. That’s just the reality of a working office. We focus on the tasks we have and try to get home before the evening traffic gets too bad.
