We are located at N-23 Amar Market in Jaitpur, right in the Badarpur area of New Delhi. A good landmark is the Radha Krishna Mandir, which is very close by. You can often hear the bells from the temple during the morning and evening prayers. This American Express office is right in the middle of a bustling market, so there’s always something happening outside. It’s not a huge office, just enough space for us to handle the local accounts and help people who walk in with their queries. We have a few desks and some filing cabinets that are quite full. The floor is made of simple tiles and we try to keep it clean, though the dust from the market always finds a way in. We spend our time checking numbers and making sure all the records are correct. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have any fancy coffee machines, just a simple kettle for tea in the back. The people around here are mostly regulars who we see every day in the market. Working in Amar Market means we are right in the heart of the community, which is nice. Sometimes it gets really loud with the shoppers and the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't have a big team, just enough people to make sure everything runs the way it should without any fuss. It’s just a regular office doing its part in Jaitpur every single day.
