American Express

This office is tucked away in Sunder Vihar, at 12/408. It’s a residential part of New Delhi-87, so it’s not like the big corporate headquarters you might imagine for a name like American Express. We are just a local branch where we handle specific tasks. The building is a regular one, and we occupy a part of it. Inside, it’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of paper. We spend our days processing things and talking to customers on the phone. It’s a quiet neighborhood, which is nice because we can actually focus on the work without too much noise. There’s a small park nearby where we go for a walk sometimes during lunch. Most of us live not too far away, so we know the area well. We deal with card issues and some of the back-end things that keep the accounts running. It’s not flashy at all. We just come in, do our hours, and head home. The office can get a bit cluttered with all the files, but we try to stay on top of it. We’ve been at this Sunder Vihar address for a good amount of time. It’s a simple operation here.
