American Express

Our spot is over in Amar Colony, specifically on the second floor of D-25 in Lajpat Nagar-4. If you know the area, you know how packed the streets get around lunch time. It is American Express, but do not think of those massive glass towers you see in movies. We are right here in the mix of South Delhi, working through the daily tasks. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, and the hallway can be a little dark until you get inside the main door. We have a few desks set up and it is mostly the sound of keyboards and people talking on their headsets. It is a busy environment because things move fast here. We handle a lot of the card stuff and customer queries that come through. Sometimes it gets loud when the market outside is in full swing, but that is just the vibe of Lajpat Nagar. We do not have a big reception area with flowers or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. We have got the local shops nearby for a quick snack, and most of us have worked here long enough to know the shortcuts through the colony lanes. It is a very practical setup, and we prefer it that way. We do not spend time on fancy decorations because there is always another file or a customer call waiting. It is honest work in a part of Delhi that never stops moving. We keep the tea kettle busy all day long.
