American Express

So, we’ve got this office here in New Delhi. Most people have heard of American Express because of the cards and all that, but we're just the folks working on the ground in the city. It's a busy place and there is always someone on the phone or working on a spreadsheet. We handle a lot of the local stuff that comes through. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough hours in the day to get through everything, but we find a way. We aren't trying to be anything too grand here, just doing the jobs we have to do. New Delhi can be a tough place to work with the heat and the crowds, but we've been here for a bit now and got used to the rhythm of it. You see a lot of different faces coming in and out of the office. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders, it's more about getting the tasks finished on time so we can go home. We have some regular spots nearby where we grab lunch. It's just a standard work environment where we deal with numbers and customers and all the paperwork that comes with it. We try to keep things moving along without making too much of a fuss. It is a lot of work, honestly. We’ve got a small team here compared to the big global offices, but we keep busy enough. We just come in, do the work, and head home after the shift is finally over.
