American Express

This is where we are, at Flat No. B-127 over in F122. It is a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't looking closely at the signs. American Express has this space here and it's where the daily grind happens. It is not a massive corporate tower, just a flat where we set up our equipment and get to it. We spend a lot of time here dealing with whatever comes across our desks. Sometimes the lighting is a bit dim in the hallway but inside we keep it bright enough to see what we're doing. There’s a small kitchen area where we make coffee or heat up lunch. Most of us have been working together for a while now so we know how each other likes to work. It gets a bit noisy when everyone is talking at the same time, but that is part of the job. We don't really do much in the way of decorating, just the basics. People come and go throughout the day. It is a simple setup really. No one wears suits much unless there's a specific reason to look extra sharp. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get through the pile of work before the day ends. It’s a practical way to run things. We like being in this building even if finding the right door takes a minute. It’s a quiet enough place once you get settled.
