You can find us at number 70 in Tilak Nagar Colony. This is in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. It’s a residential-looking area, so it’s not what you’d expect for a name like American Express. We have a small office space set up here. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and a few filing cabinets that are starting to get full. I usually handle the mail and the phone calls. The street outside is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache if you have a big car. We’ve been in this colony for some time. It’s a local branch, so we know the neighbors well. Sometimes they stop by just to say hello or ask about something. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one near the door. The walls inside are painted a pale yellow, but the paint is peeling a little near the ceiling. It doesn't bother us much. We just focus on the work on our screens. Mathura is a busy town, especially during the festivals, but our little corner in Tilak Nagar stays mostly calm. We use a couple of old fans to keep the air moving during the afternoon. My desk is right by the window, so I can see the kids playing in the street after school. It’s a very normal, local setup. We do our daily tasks, keep our records straight, and close up shop when the sun goes down.
