We are tucked away at A-44 in Amar Colony, right in the middle of the busy Lajpat Nagar-4 area. It is a noisy spot most days because of the traffic and the shoppers nearby, but inside our office, we just focus on getting the work done. This isn’t a massive corporate tower with glass walls. It is a regular building where we handle all the credit card stuff and customer queries that come our way. The stairs are a bit narrow and the sign outside has seen better days, but everyone knows where we are. Usually, the morning starts with someone making tea and us checking the computers to see what needs fixing from the day before. We have a few desks squeezed in and there is always a pile of paperwork somewhere. People from the neighborhood sometimes pop in just to ask for directions or help with their accounts. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything like that. It is just a group of us sitting here, making sure the payments go through and the records stay updated. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front windows quite hard so we keep the blinds down. It is a simple place to work and we have been here for quite some time now. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss or trouble for anyone who visits us.
