You might expect a big corporate office, but we are actually located at House Number 136 in the DDA Flats of Safdarjung Enclave. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the commercial hubs of New Delhi. Working out of a flat gives the whole place a very different feel. We use the rooms as our offices, and the kitchen is where we all gather to make tea or heat up our lunch. It’s a very grounded way to spend the workday. We handle a lot of the local tasks and client queries from here. Safdarjung Enclave has a lot of trees and it’s nice to look out the window and see some greenery instead of just traffic. Our team is small, and we don't really do the whole suit-and-tie thing unless we absolutely have to. Most days, it’s just us in our regular clothes, working through our emails and calls. The doorbell rings quite often with couriers or neighbors, which keeps things interesting. We’ve been in this specific flat for a long time, and it feels more like a home than a workplace. We don’t have any big polished mission statements or flashy signs for American Express here. We just do our work as best as we can and keep things simple and practical for everyone involved.
