Our office is tucked away in Asha Park, specifically at B-78 A in the Mehta Resident building. It’s right near Jail Road, which everyone around here knows can get really crowded in the afternoons. At American Express here in New Delhi, we deal with a lot of accounts and credit stuff every single day. It’s a lot of sitting in front of screens and talking to people about their spending or their cards. We aren't in one of those huge glass buildings downtown. This is more of a local setup where the team gets together to handle the local paperwork and customer queries. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a mess, but we’re always here at our desks. There’s a tea stall nearby where most of us go during the break. The office itself is functional. We have files piled up and phones ringing constantly. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. People call in when they have a problem with a payment or if they lost their card, and we do our best to find the right information for them. We don't use a lot of fancy words or complicated processes if we can help it. We just want to make sure the numbers add up at the end of the day. Being in the 110018 area means we see a lot of the same faces around the neighborhood. It keeps things feeling like a real community for us.
