American Express

We are located on the top floor of B-45 in Chattarpur Enclave, Phase-2. Being in New Delhi means it is always a bit chaotic outside, but once you get up to the top floor, it’s a bit quieter. We work for American Express from this specific branch and it is a pretty functional space. There are lots of stairs to climb, which keeps us fit I suppose, although it’s not much fun in the heat. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with desks and people working on their computers. We handle a lot of different things and the phones never seem to stop ringing for long. It is not a glamorous setup, but it gets the job done. We have a small balcony where we sometimes stand for a minute just to get some air. The neighborhood is full of life and there is always something going on down on the street. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the work in front of us. No one here is trying to sound like a corporate brochure; we just talk to each other and get our tasks finished. Sometimes we have lunch at our desks and other times we go out to the local market area. It is just a regular day-to-day existence for us here in Delhi. We enjoy the energy of the city even when it gets a bit overwhelming at times.
