American Express

Our office is over at F-103 in Jawahar Park. It is a busy little area and we are tucked away inside the building. We handle a lot of the customer side of things for American Express from this desk. It is mostly computers and phones around here. The office isn't anything special to look at, just white walls and standard desks. We get a lot of mail delivered every day. Sorting through the envelopes takes up a good chunk of the morning. We usually take turns going out to get lunch from the local stalls nearby. The noise from the street comes in through the windows sometimes. We have a few filing cabinets that are getting a bit full. It is a lot of data entry and checking numbers over and over. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and we take a ten-minute break. We aren't a big flashy branch, just a working office in a residential part of town. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when you come in. We have some plants on the windowsills but we forget to water them half the time. It is a straightforward place to work. We focus on getting the accounts sorted and answering the calls as they come in. Nothing more, nothing less. It keeps us busy from nine to five. Most of us have been here for a long time. It is a regular job.
